Ford Fairlane Police Car
Production Period: 1963-1965
In the early 60's Ford offered a Police Interceptor V8 package of the Ford Fairlane.
The model casting is the same as that used for the Fire Chief model No. 59B.
55C
Ford Galaxie Police Car
Production Period: 1966-1967
Model of a Ford Galaxy 500 Police Interceptor. The model casting is the same as that used for
the Fire Chief model No. 59C. 59C came with a blue dome light and in rare instances a blue dome light from No. 59C would be installed
on the 55C model making for a highly sought after variation.
55D
Mercury Police Car
Production Period: 1968-1969
Mercury Park Lane version of the Police Interceptor with both driver and passenger. The base used for No. 55D
is shared with No. 73C. Both models include the steerable front wheels. The base includes the patent application
number for the steerable feature.
