Hillman Minx

Production Period: 1958-1961

Model of a very British 1957 Hillman Minx Mark II. Hillman was a part of the Rootes Group that was owned
by Chrysler. Commer and Karrier (see Nos. 21C, 38A, 47B, 50A, 69A) were also part of the Rootes Group.
The two tone colour scheme was available for the actual car and works nicely on the model.
Typical simple early Matchbox model with metal wheels and no interior.

Aveling Barford Tractor Shovel

Production Period: 1962-1967

Construction equipment model representing a Aveling-Barford front end loader.
The shovel portion lifts from a singe pivot point, but does not include friction cylinders so it does not stay up on its own.

Pony Trailer

Production Period: 1968-1969

Well executed and deservedly popular model of a horse trailer. Model includes two plastic horse figures
that are similarly well made and balanced so that they are quite stable. The model's scale fits well with later
models that have a tow hitch. The operating rear door drops to become a ramp.
