Production Period: 1957-1962

An early version car transporter based on the Bedford A2 cab. Very basic model with no rear loading door.
Cab is the same as that used for the M2-A Bedford Ice Cream truck available in the Major Pack series.

Variation 1:

Early releases were labelled using Black printed text "MATCHBOX Car Transporter" and came with metal wheels. Later versions
came with a decal with text "Car Collection Ltd. Car Transporter" and grey plastic wheels.

Variation 2:

Later models included extra reinforcement on the inside of the braces supporting the upper deck.
